It isn't the performance monster the Corvettes I had in my heyday were but it has plenty of pep. Gets 30 miles a gallon like a metronome, and that's mostly local driving. Everything about it is solid and well thought out. Would I buy another one or recommend it? You betcha.

If that's the case then some people have unfair prejudices against Mexican manufacturing. The Jetta is a solidly built car.

My ex recently gave our daughter her Pontiac minivan instead of trading it in. (Lots of miles, not worth much as a trade-in). I can't even tell you the number of things wrong with it. It seems like every last detail is crap, crap, crap.
