ok, last shot: This append from which does not work on your particular cursor. Do you face any other situation where the append from myCursor results in this error? If that is not the fact, maybe you should carefuly reread your statements, eventualy rename your variables. If you face the problem on other situations as well, meaning you can reproduce the error, than I would consider a reinstallation of VFP and see it that helps. If you still cannot append from a cursor than you are in trouble.
