To reinstall VFP is a piece of cake. Anybody, can do this in < 30 minutes. Your old precious settings wont be lost, also your own home made startup.prg will not be removed, provided you just uninstall and install via Windows -> Settings etc.
I have to do this for reasons, not important in this thread, every approx 2 month's. In case VFP is showing some unexpected, unwanted behavior there is always a possibility that some file from the VFP engine got broken. A reinstall can help.
Yes I read that Martina mentioned that you are not the only one who has had a bad experience with append from dbf('myCursor') just curious if this situation is symptomatic. Would it be possible to zip the application so we could test on a different configuration to see if we can reproduce your error? In case you feel uncomfortable to mail your app to this forum i am willing to open my mailbox.
