You're fully right... this guy had not focus on you.. into your problem.. but, try another sponsor.. and try to be honest with him.. there is no problem to open your mind and say to your sponsor what exactly you think about Jesus, religious stuff, etc.. Try to open your heart starting and being honest and acceptable with dif. opnions... There isn't any problem to deal with dif. point-of-views.. Many of ours social problems start with the exercise of living with *diferences* (in love).

The goal (in first plane) of AA is about lifes, alcohool slavery, etc... And it is about to introduce a God that matters with ours lifes... Don't turn this so general if you had no good relation with this first sponsor... Keep on buddy.. Keep on... It is a treatment that works pretty fine in all over the world...

Try to think... Your current life standards has put you on this position... Are this position good for you? Bad? So, just try to break yours owns paradigms... And reach dif. point-of-view
