These are the two core questions--can you provide any insight into them?
1. Is there a way reliably to create a cursor with a physical presence? Apparently NOFILTER does not accomplish this.
2. Even if the cursor has no physical presence, shouldn't it be accessible with DBF("[cursor name]")?
So why does VFP recognize the cursor when I issue "SELECT MyCursor" but not when I issue APPEND FROM (DBF("[MyCursor]"))? Is this an anomoly with APPEND FROM?
