Just like with the current admin, the problem isn't as much in the bought and sold press (aka presstitutes), but with the same kind of scientists. I bet we had, at some point, the same scientists who were once instrumental in proving that something is harmless (be it tobacco, pills, some pollutant or this or other electromagnetic emission) were now paid to be the instrument of proving the opposite.

Slaves will be found. I may despise those who allow themselves to be bought - but I may pity them as well. For those who pay for fooling the public, I have nothing nice to say. And I wouldn't pity them, either, no matter into what sort of trouble they fall.
