I really like Vista. As for a memory upgrade, while I'm not saying it's right to need more memory for Vista, it shouldn't be surprising. Win95 needed more than DOS/Win3.x and XP needed more than Win9x, so a pattern was set. However, Win7 is being optimized to require less memory than Vista. The demo at PDC was done on a Netbook with 1 Gig RAM and performed very well.
