Do you have anymore details from your friend? Did it give him some kind of error message or anything?

I had not considered the possibility that VFP wouldn't run on it - if it doesn't that would probably be the last nail in the coffin for our beloved VFP.

Also - do you know which Windows 7 build he was using? I know that there are torrents now for the 7000.0.081212 - 1400 running around now that is supposed to be a little better than the 68xx one that was floating around...
