>>>>>I just connected to my customer server (via VPN and RDT) and tried to run my VFP 9 application. I don't know if the application caused it or it was there to begin with but the Task Manager shows 100% CPU Usage. The application loads extremely slow. Even after I closed the application the CPU usage didn't go down. What can I check and how can I find out what is causing this CPU usage to be so high on the server?

>>>I bring up Task Manager with right mouse click on the bottom Task Bar. I noticed this morning that the summary page of the Task Manager shows 54 processes in the Performance page but I only see 7 processes in the Processes page. Something is not right.

>As I mentioned in another message, the network engineer found the issue with a service. I don't think the services are shown in the Task Manager. So I guess Task Manager is not the only place to look for when experiencing high CPU Usage.
I have services that do show up in the Task Manager. Maybe yours was different.
