I did it! I just bought the thing. Click, Click, $120 on a credit card, and now I'm in.
I don't even really know exactly what I'm getting into with this thing, but that SharpDev IDE looks cool, so why not?
And to support them, like you said, and hopefully some good benefits by purchasing at this time as the product matures.

I have been urging VFP developers who want to extend their skills into the .Net arena to support eTecnologia (as I have: I have no connection to eTecnologia other than admiration and affection for what they are doing) by purchasing the CLRExtenderk which by itself will open many .Net doors (e.g., I wanted to blast gTalk messages to our R&D team when a build was made, and used a .Net opensource library to do it, from within the VFP program I wrote to manage the build process).
