I did some more testing and the problem appears to be that if you type the new date and try to use LOSTFOCUS to pull the .value you will not get the date you typed. However, if you select a new date with the dropdown calendar then you will. Our users are typing the date since that is what they are used to and then telling me that the program is not using the date they typed.
