That's great. The interest shown here and in emails to me is tremendous. But the proof will always be in the pudding, so that's all I'm trying to do: show folks what the pudding is like at the moment. <s>

>I think you're exactly right about supporting the effort. I bought back in March for exactly the reasons you state. Haven't touched it yet as I am waiting for the pioneers to catch the arrows while I concentrate on Strataframe, but I look forward to seeing where it goes.

>I am a little disappointed the vfp studio isn't on top of VS 2008 which I love but I certainly don't understand the technical issues involved well enough to know if that was even possible.

>I any case, I applaud Hank's efforts (in this and so many other things he's done for the Fox community over the years) and will continue to follow the project with great interest.

>>>My greatest concern about the product is the barrier of interpretation inherent from VFP to .NET (such as SKIP). Other sites, like VFPConversion, have indicated that commonly used VFP Code can't be correctly embellished into pure IL.
>>>Maybe this concern should be addressed more readily on the main page after reconstruction.

>>E-mail them direct to get these kind of matters addressed. They have been very responsive to me with replies from two different people regarding two different inquiries I sent.

>>sales@etecnologia.net

>>They also have a user group on google: http://groups.google.com/group/vfpnet-compiler-community-support-group
>>
>>There is not much activity there yet, but it has to start somewhere, so if you are really interested in seeing if this thing is going to take off, take the time to make a post there, and see if you can start a fire.
>>
>>Also, do what I did. Simply buy the thing. $120 is not a big deal, and I'm sure to them at this point the more rapidly they see subscriptions coming in, the faster this thing will move. Not because they will be getting rich, but because everyone who is dedicated to a cause is motivated by seeing that there efforts are being used by other people.
