Good, good, good. As you say, they came to their senses. You have been an MVP as long as I have been here, even during your brief hiatus from the program proper. There are some names I automatically read everything they post and yours is one of them.

There are a couple of new developments in my migration to C#.NET. I think you know I dropped out of the SetFocus program after one week. Very expensive and not the greatest material (Microsoft courseware written for .NET version 1). I have been admitted to a similar program at DePaul University, much less expensive but much better known locally. Way back when I was in the mainframe world we hired several of the program's grads, which was COBOL and CICS at the time. That starts January 13 and goes for 10 weeks, 3 hours every Tuesday and Thursday evening and every other Saturday morning. I was also contacted out of the blue about a 3-6 month contract with a company that is rewriting a VFP app in C#.NET / SQL Server. The position is to babysit the VFP app and write some data migration code, but the recruiter said there is a good chance to join the team full time when the migration is finished.

Have a good day, MVP ;-)

UPDATE: Wow, I sure messed up the last sentence in the first paragraph (LOL). I need an editor, not an MVP. Oh well....
