This message has been marked as a message which has helped to the initial question of the thread.
>A VFP app creates backups of directories listed in a table. It is normally run by issuing a command from Start>Run like "ZipAll c:\Zips]20090101". The app receives the parameter and calls a form which opens the table and creates the backups using pkzipc.

>BTW, it doesn' t make difference if I reverse the change and recompile and even the old execulable wont run from Start>Run anymore. Worse of all I can't do a trace either with WAIT WINDOW of even STRTOFILE('message','trace.exe'). It seems program simply refuses to start.

Did you try on one computer only? Would it work on another computer?
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
