Hi Andrew,
When I was having this problem, Microsoft told me it was most likely due to a corrupted browser.dbf. I moved Browser.dbf and Browser.fpt out of the FoxPro home directory and when I started FoxPro again and invoked the browser, it created a new Browser.dbf and everything was fine. (Sounds like a fairy tale doesn't it?)
I guess browser.dbf is to the Class Browser what Normal.dot is to Word.
HTH,
Pamela
