I had a situation here with same behavior.. but for me, it was a nice feature... because I do have a resident application on systray and it runs over the web looking for updates of our application... And some updates move a table to another folder.... and download a new one from FTP.. and it uses "append from"... and this one seems to work pretty fine.. even with some app. opened...
