I want to create a cursor, add a blank row, set an order, and have that row appear at the top.

select T1.* from T1 order by T1.cCharField into cursor T2 
select T2
append blank
brow

append blank generates "Cannot update the cursor T2 since it is read-only."

It appears that I nead to create a NOT read-only cursor, but can't find the trick. Also, that blank line is added after the "order by" so I suspect that it would be at the bottom, even if I could add it. I could add the row to T1 first, but T1 is a read-only cursor too, that I also created with a select statement.
