You may be able to make a case for a future Code Camp on Sunday in the NYC area. Contact the organizers and explain your situation. And add that as Saturday is the Jewish Sabath, there could be many more that would like it on Sunday. Also, many Code Camps are two day events, Saturday and Sunday.
