I had this happen again a few weeks ago.
I believe what is causing the problem has something to do with checking an entire project into Visual SourceSafe at once.
This time, I removed the OLEPUBLIC keywords from the several classes that use it.
I then rebuilt my project and the build completed without errors.
I then restored the OLEPUBLIC keywords, and the build worked OK!
So, for future reference, this is the easiest workaround I've found so far.
