I've noticed that sometimes my thought process is different than others because I have a hard time accepting anything abstract. I am a developer, which means everything has a process, a reason, and hard proof somewhere. I suspect that many other developers are the same, and that probably affects several things in their lives, faith being one that comes to mind.

>I wonder if that sort of goes with the territory? What makes people in one profession - a seemingly boring one at that - have all these personal issues, etc? Obviously I'm not a "grand wizard" because any issues I have pale in comparison to much of what I see here. Of course, like I said before, maybe they are just the more vocal of the group.
