>>You would need to install VistaDB and then download and install the Mere Mortals VistaDB Extensions classes as well as the version of the Business Layer Generator for VistaDB. The latter will extend your Business Layer Generator to work as it does now but also with VistaDB. Hope that makes sense, if not ask more.

>Thanks! I may need the extension classes. I already downloaded and installed the Express version. But in the docs it states that it does not support some VS interfaces. I got an error with the VistaDB BLG and I didn't want to hassle trying to recompile everything to match, then finding out that the two don't work together. lol. Are you using VistaDB? I'm really impressed with it!

I am using VistaDB with a couple of web projects. I found it very easy to use and very nice but still lacking in some areas. I have a couple of web applications that needed data but really almost refuse to use Access. VistaDB filled that nich well. Others I have now use SQL via my own WebService that is very good also.

You mentioned VistaDB Express and I am not sure I am familiar with an Express version. I followed the instructions in the Dev Guide under 3rd party products and the VistaDB BLG worked good for me. You do have to install the mmVistaDB Data Access Classes for this to work. If you still have a problem recompliling isn't much of a problem either if you have a version mismatch.
