Hi Tore,
Happy New Year!
Our problem is that the instances are COM instances for an ISAPI web server app. The instances are spawned via Rick Strahl's wc.dll. We have no control over the individual instantiations. We did consider a wrapper to create a unique config.fpw and then run the proper exe specifying that config file, but that just runs the instances in File Mode. It looks as if File Mode may be the answer- Rick suggested we could start all the instances using a batch file specifying a unique config.fpw for each instance. That's a shame because this is a busy system and File Mode needs a lot more sysop supervision than COM.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
