At the January 2009 meeting we'll discuss Grid Enhancements, Updating Users, and Searching Techniques.

Remember the Visible V8 Engine -- the plastic toy that showed how pistons go up and down? Now we have Visible FoxPro! It's a presentation technique that integrates Power Point style bullets with working VFP controls including windows which show the properties and methods -- all in a multi paged form.

Bill Drew will give a lesson on Grid Enhancements using his new Visible FoxPro teaching machine. He'll be examining grids and how Visible FoxPro is programmed.

Next Mike Hogan will show a technique for updating desktop applications via an Internet download. It is inspired by a method devised by uber guru Craig Boyd.

Finally Patrick OHara will show us a suite of search techniques which he has submitted to the broader community.
