Granted, I tended to skip most of the JVP stuff because about 75% of the time (or so it seemed to me), he would come across as though he felt he was superior to everyone else and we were just too stupid to understand what he was trying to tell us. Now, whether or not that was how he actually felt, that tends to make people defensive and then offensive. I tend to believe that he really DID feel that way based on the few times someone would try to point out to him just exactly WHY someone else had gotten so upset with him and his basic response would be "Well, they ARE stupid".
