Not that I know of. I can see where this might be useful, to know whether you need to reindex. Reindexing requires exclusive access which may be difficult in a multiuser environment.

One useful approach for dealing with index corruption is simply to have a known good .CDX file available. This known good one does not even have to have any records. Just overwrite the suspect one with the known good one, and REINDEX.
