I think you're wrong. The idea is to be able to quickly find the threads. Say, in recent question about corrupted vcx library I recalled I had similar problem. I tried to search, but I think I was unable to find the particular thread I was after. Having this type of search available or threads I started would allow quicker searches.

Though, of course, I'd love to re-read my old threads some day :)
