I have been fixing my setup project because with all the new installs for Visual Studio 2008, this has corrupted some settings. I have discovered something very strange. First of all, I cannot use the Add/Remove program files to uninstall the application. So, this has to be done from the Setup.exe only by the use of the Remove option. But, when doing new versions at a few occasions, I was overwritting my Setup.exe. This was good as this is what I wanted. But, because the old installation was not removed prior to run the new setup, I was not able to run the new setup. So, I had no way but to go in the Registry and remove all those keys. I had to do that twice and it took me about 12 minutes each. So, before overwriting the new Setup.exe, make sure you run its Remove option first so to remove the old application. lol
