>>I saw an announcement that you are preparing a presentation of FoxCharts for a local VFP users group, is that correct ?

Yes, that is correct.

I'll be demontrstrating a front end to Foxcharts that allows end users to specify the chart specifications, save them in a table for recall and use them to create and output the chart in a variety of ways.

It also includes a framework that developers can use for creating and saving SQL scripts which can be assocated with a chart specification via the specs table.

The idea is to remove the need to have any chart-specific code by moving all that to the table and the SQL framework, and to develop validations that will make Foxcharts crash proof. As it is, it can be crashed fairly readily with improper specifications and/or data.

I relied heavily on your samples while doing the development but tried to take them a bit further.

Everyhing is looking good so far. I do have some questions and possbile documentation updates that I'll be sending you off line, but nothing came up that I couldn't handle.

Thanks to you and everyone who worked on Foxcharts - it's a wonderful product.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
