I have a 3rd party activex control that I am using for HTTPS with a foxpro app. My license allows me to distribute the control as part of my application. However, the instructions for the activex do not have Foxpro-specific info (naturally). Basically, the instructions say that the dlls should be added to the project and then the license key will be requested and stored during compilation. Then, in a development environment, the key will be automatically sent to the dlls and the user will be able to access the control. I tried adding the dlls to my foxpro project under "Other Files". It does not ask for a key when compiling. I created a setup which includes the Foxpro exe and the dlls and installed it on another computer, but it continues to say the dlls are not licensed on that computer.

Any suggestions as to how to get ActiveX controls to distribute properly with Foxpro? Oh, the 3rd party ActiveX is called PowerTCP Web for ActiveX, if that helps.
