>Second life is probably not to blame for that. I guess it didn't help but that couple was probably having problems before that.

Hmmm, What-ev-er!

What the articles that I found don't show is that they were a pair of Shreks in real life - that may be their problem.

I showed you that as a pt. of interest, not as part of a debate. What i figure is you only get your "3 score and ten" in the REAL life so mi's well make the most of them. However, if your real life is so sh!tty maybe sinking into a virtual one is preferable.

I expect that when they build in the ability to give you orgasms in one of these virtual worlds then a lot more people will take them up.

Meanwhile my kids are really into this game on Wii, where your avatar has a little house and talks (in gibberish) to other avatars. I find it to be a bit depressing to watch and hear. The other night my daughter was panicking because she realised it was the time at which she'd made an appointment to meet another avatar in the game. I said not to worry, it's only a computer generated entity and won't be upset, like a real person. On the contrary, she said, it WILL be pissed with her and let her know. Maybe there's the danger of virtual wjavascript:document.Form1.submit()orlds when concern for them impinges on the real.

Only those who have experienced it can answer that.
- Whoever said that women are the weaker sex never tried to wrest the bedclothes off one in the middle of the night
- Worry is the interest you pay, in advance, for a loan that you may never need to take out.
