Well I've hit the wall. Inorder to send an email immediately if you have remote access to the net (as most users do) and you are using the OLE Messaging automation as per Inside VFP sept issue (which "superseeds the mapi.ocx") you need the method for the session called delivernow. Problem is this is defined in version 1.1 not in version 1.0 Without delivernow, the email sits in your outbox until you go to exchange and choose the deliver/read messages now option of the menu.

Now 1.0 is free off the net. So how much should 1.1 be? Try $500. That's right, it is only available via MSDN Professional subscription which has the MAPI SDK or for $1999 for the MS Exchange Server. Why version 1.0 is free and version 1.1 with just a few added properties and methods is $500 no one at MS could explain. Also you can't buy version 1.1 or even the MAPI SDK separately.

Well I'm done ranting and now after all that I have to go back to the mapi.ocx as $500 for a simple dll file is not in the budget.
