I think you make a mistake, Marcia, by emphasizing 'jewish' part of this situation. In my opinion, it is not exactly about that. If you noticed certain attitude comes from the same part of the board, i.e. the same not only on 'jewish' part of the issue. In other words, 'anti-semitism' rarely comes as an isolated thing, it is usually an indication of something bigger and recurrent in nature.
