It's a variation caused by the VFPOleDB data provider. Under the IIS environment, we have detected a lot of weird behaviors over the last two years. So, to workaround that, we have some things here and there to help in that direction. When it happens, it may last for a few seconds or even up to a minute. And, then it starts going fast again.
