I'm sorry, I don't understand your response. Are you stating that you don't believe Hamas intentionally uses civilians as shields? Or are you stating that no civilians would ever willingly agree to that?

We have Palestinian Americans here. Some have relatives back there who indeed do believe in supporting the cause to such an extent that they do in fact willingly place themselves (or allow themselves to be placed) next to Hamas fighters during conflicts. They believe more strongly in the cause than in the life of their family members. They truly believe that their family members will be protected because Allah is on their side or that their family members will only die if Allah wills it. You must have Palestinians living in Turkey as well who have experienced this? I'm assuming, since you speak so strongly on the issue at times, that you know people yourself. It is also available on video (interviews of family members willingly doing this and video of Hamas fighting from a position surrrounded by 50 civilians while the civilians try their best to get out of the way). Perhaps the difference is that in general, the majority of people who come to live in this country do so with the intention of merging with our culture (such that it is) and that is not always the case in other countries. Perhaps the person who would relocate to this country is different than the person who would relocate to another country? I really don't know. I can only speak from what I have learned from people I've met and had discussions with and what information is available.

I'm not condoning the Israeli attacks, but I am being realistic to the best of my ability about the actions on both sides.
