Maybe that's why they are sometimes called US Scare. Not only that, they were formed by the merger of two regional airlines, one of them being Allegheny Airlines -- which was sometimes called Agony Airlines.

Now Agony Airlines is practically generic. I am so glad I don't have to fly very often these days.
