Wow, Swami Jr almost forgot what it was like to post....

Swami Jr is 3-5 so far, thanks to meldowns by the NY G-strings (whoops! Giants) and the Carolina Pussies (whoops! Panthers). I guess I should have figured that Jake the Fake was due for a stinker of a game, but that was pathetic.

Anyway, here we go....

In the early game Sunday, the 11-6-1 Eagles travel west to take on the 11-7 Cardinals. Quite rare for a conference title game to be held in the stadium of the team with the lower winning percentage....but that's what happens when you get to play in a horrible division like the NFC West. The Cards and Kurt Warner have had a lovely little run, but it's about to come to an end. Donovan McNabb is as strong as an ox (and almost as smart), so between that and the Philly blitz packages, the Cards will have a long day. Go with Philly

In the late game Sunday night, the 12-6 Ravens head across the PA turnpike to take on the 13-4 Steelers at the big ketchup bottle. Steelers looked awfully tough in the second half against the Lightning Bolts, which makes this game a tough one. Can Joe Flacco really pull off the impossible? They'll come close....and while Swami Jr has adopted the Ravens and the big Crab Cake, his head says the Steelers will find a way to win. Their defense is just too much.

So, an all PA Super Bowl....quite fitting, with a new PA Crew for 2009 and a new PA Crew member who'll be seen up here soon - someone you may remember.
