Ideally I would like to insert a code in those places to create some dummy/token files. This way I can see if the point had reached or not. But my understanding of ASP.NET is that it is not allowed to make files on the server.

The server is Server 2003 R2. So far, I am not able to make my application to create sample text file. I don't know if I am doing something wrong or this is just not allowed on the server.
