Well, I'll be! I tested with a prg from the 2007 type library (alternating with the code Cetin Basoz had provided) until about Wednesday or Thursday when I switched to WordWrapper.prg from your project.. At that point, Quit became functional but other procedures still weren't being called by their events. I compared the two versions and found there are more events exposed in 2007 but none of potential use to me. I missed this though:
DEFINE CLASS WordWrapper AS session OLEPUBLIC && From 2007 olb and Cetn's code

DEFINE CLASS WordWrapper AS Custom && your wordwrapper.prg
There are still issues to resolve but they are different ones so this is real progress :-) I want to disable menu options, particularly those under the "Office button" if I can figure out how to reference them. The NewDocument() method doesn't take a cancel parameter and that will be a problem if the command can't be disabled. And, it will still be valuable to have Word 2000 here so I can test in a more representative environment without risk of hanging the client's remote desktop server!
