>>I start a new job with a web development firm in Waterloo on February 2nd. I'm hoping that in this position I can focus more on development instead of project management stuff. I've felt like my .NET development skills have regressed over the past 2 years due to lack of use so I needed a change. Hopefully I can be more present in the future in the .NET forum, specifically with ASP.NET and (gasp) C#.

I worked in Cedar Falls, and Waterloo will be about 10 minutes closer, so hopefully my drive will only be 20 minutes per day.
I wasn't even really a manager - there was just so much red tape and other crap I had to go through to get anything done. The managers were all old school too, so they were leery about some of the new .NET technology, even though they had no reason to be. Oh well, no matter. 9 days left!
