JR, I can pull "high-minded" quotes from Mein Kampf, I can find lines that would initially appear to draw parallels between Karl Marx and Nietzsche....there needs to be something more substantiative.

Presuming that Abraham Lincoln had a few clues about bringing society together and making a country great, I felt that his beliefs about charity might form a useful counterpoint to "Let them Eat Cake" beliefs that IMHO lead to a predictable conclusion, as history has shown.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
"
-- Shakespeare: Coriolanus, Act 1, scene 1
