>That's right, I forgot you were a Chefs fan!<g> I worked with a guy in the DAs office for several years who is from KC, has season tickets, etc etc etc. We go to the game in KC every year, and this year I took my wife to Colorado for our 30th year anniversary (return to scene of the crime) and took in the Saints game in Denver (a win) and KC (a loss) on the return.

Congrats on the 30 years. Most of us intend to do so but few of us succeed.

What's your secret? Unlimited patience on her part? ;-) Forbearance? Knowing which things to discuss and which things not to? A feeling of still being simpatico after all these years?

I thought I had all those things going and still only made it to 14 years. 16 years together, 18 from wedding to divorce. It's odd that we get along together now than we did in our last couple of years together. Well, other than some ways, of course. (I shouldn't say "of course" -- I know some exes who still do).

You're probably wondering what I'm doing online in the middle of the night. My sleep patterns are all messed up. The doc adjusted my antidepressant medication -- down, which is great -- and I guess my system is still adjusting to the new dosage. Some days I am sleepy at 8 p.m. and wide awake at 3 in the morning. As long as my head seems pointed in the right direction I don't mind.
