That is what I did as well (after the first year). I spent the first year in college full-time and working two jobs. The 2nd year I joined the military and attended college while in the service. It took a long time, but I eventually prevailed. There is nothing like writing a computer program on paper by flashlight while sitting in a pup-tent in the field :o) However, she must attend full-time or she will lose her medical benefits. She is on two different medical plans right now. Most is covered by her father's military retirement medical plan, but that only persists as long as she is in school full-time. That coverage is 80%. My medical plan changed from 90% to 70% as of January 1st so I am already paying for a separate medical plan to cover the gap not covered by my employer sponsored plan and her TRICARE plan. It's a toss-up as to which is the most feasible now - go part-time and lower the education costs but raise the medical benefits cost or go full-time and pay the greater amount out of pocket for her education.
