>>>No I don't. I understand you point exactly and I don't have right to your money. But the country you live in does, its part of the price you pay for living there. and currently in the US they may want a bit more.

>>>They are already getting 40% and that is already too much. I am going to stop working and go on the dole - there is no benefit to hard work if I do not get to enjoy a better life because of it.

>>Reading this reminds me that when Solomon started college, I was aggravated that because we'd lived within our means, and driven our cars for years, and not owned vacation homes or boats or planes, he wasn't eligible for any aid, while the kids of other people we knew who'd bought new cars every two years, and so forth, were getting aid. It didn't take me long, though, to realize that my kid would graduate debt-free, while those other kids would spend years paying for college.

>>Similarly, despite your tax burden, even if it goes up, you're living a whole lot better than the people who need help from the government. The image you used earlier (the person on welfare buying T-bones and driving a BMW) is baloney. The idea of the "welfare queen" was promulgated by Reagan to create animosity between classes. Yeah, I'm sure there are a few cheaters out there, but the vast majority of people living on welfare and food stamps are living at a standard well below the way you and I live.

>Do you do grocery shopping? Everytime I go in there, I see people with WIC and Foodstamp cards buying food that makes my mouth water. I wish that I could spend my money on the choice steaks, etc. But I can't, so I live within my means.

Groceries are just a small drop. How about people getting government housing at nominal rent and then sub-leasing it for market price? How about people getting fictious home attendant services and didviding paychecks with 'attendants'?
