Wooten. Good stuff. ( and remember - he's a Flecktone )

Here's the group that blew my socks of the first time I heard them. Not rock. DAWG music from the late 70s. The original David Grisman Quartet

And then with Jerry

and the real deal

This is a late 30s recording of the stuff they'd been playing at the Hot Jazz Club in Paris since the 20s. the violin you hear on the cut is Stephane Grappelli. Some of the greatest evenings of my life were at the Great American Music Hal, in San Francisco almost 50 years later, when Grappelli jammed with the David Grisman Quartet and Quintet. There is an album

It is to be treasured.

Charles Hankey

Though a good deal is too strange to be believed, nothing is too strange to have happened.
- Thomas Hardy

Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don't mean to do harm-- but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves.

-- T. S. Eliot
Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well-armed sheep contesting the vote.
- Ben Franklin

Pardon him, Theodotus. He is a barbarian, and thinks that the customs of his tribe and island are the laws of nature.
