>So far, I haven't been able to duplicate your behavior.

Have you tried to open close it without anything open on the VFP desktop, I can and it keeps on moving down everytime it opens

>I guess I would have to know the exact sequence of events that you have when VFP starts.

I don't think the sequence matters, see above

>I assume you are using StartPEMEditor(), correct?

Yes

>My guess is that you're invoking it very early. It saves its location each time that it closes; since, after it opens, something else that you are doing causes it to move (down and to the right, correct?) its relative location has changed and I can see how that would be repeated.

No I can keep everything closed CLOSE ALL, CLEAR ALL, CLEAR and if I invoke StartPEMEditor() (in the C:\VSO3\Utilities\PEMEditor folder) with the command DO C:\VSO3\Utilities\PEMEditor\StartPEMEditor.prg the behavior is still observed

The shifting is just downwards I was mistaken previously of the right shift

BTW the PEMEditor is a blank form as nothing is open, does this have an effect in saving the position, can you stop it from saving position if nothing was selected (thus blank PEMEditor form)?

FYI I have removed all _memberdata and the speed improvement is tremendous in everything, I wish this was an efficient feature.
