I had the same problems in vfp5 and was hoping it was corrected. I've had just as many problems with 256 color .bmp files and since posting this - also with .jpg's!

I get it mostly with GIF files that have been reduced to 16 or 2 colors. Changing the dimensions of the image by a pixel or two can make the fuzzyness better or worse.
