Welcome to Marcia and Kevins unlovely world. Standing over their chest of gold with a gun in their hand. No thanks

You are missing the point. I contribute to several charities and I am well known among my friends for my generosity. I am talking about personal responsibily here, a concept with which you are obviously unfamiliar. Let me tell you a personal story. My first husband proposed to me right arounf the same time I was offerred a job in another state to teach industrial arts in a high school. I decided that getting married was more important, so I stayed here, got married, kept tending bar and let my teaching certificate expire.

Five years later when I left my ex-husband, I was still tending bar and I thought "Holy Crap! Here I am almost 30 and still tending bar! I sure as heck do not want to be doing this when I am 50!" So what did I do? I looked at the classifieds in the newspaper to see which profession seemed to have the best future and the highest income - it was working with computers. So I went back to college, tending bar at night, to work my way through and earn my BSCS. Luckily, I wound up really liking software development and being pretty good at it.

So what is the moral of the story here? Life is what you make it. If you do not like the state of you life, it is up to you to take steps to change it, just like I did. There is nothing extraordinary about me and if I can do it, so can anyone else.

I also suggest that if you cannot argue a point without resorting to personal insults, you would be better off to remain silent.
