Looks like this thread is not going to be a short one 8-)
You're right when you say that the cards dealt were not the best ones. September 11 was a very bad card.
Obama speaks extremely well. He looks like a very nice individual. Looks like a good beginning. The marketing is very strong around him.
On the tv news yesterday over here in Montreal a woman said he was the messiah.
There was a strong coverage on tv over here too. More than for prime minister of Canada.
A loooooot of pressure on a single man. We'll see in three months what's really the deal with him.
World recession. He's supposed to be the solution. We'll see. And if he fails to accomplish what he said he can always blame the others that were there before. They all do that.

Politics is politics.
Why don't we force them to take a polygraph when they're asked questions. That would be a good beginning and change the face of politics.
