Doug,
>I have a situation where the view designer just isn't flexible enough for what I want to do, so I have decided to use SQL pass through to accomplish it. I am wondering if you could give me any insight on how to use SQL pass through with the framework, specifically kBizObj?>
Bob is right in his assessment of the View Designer's capabilities...it's a bit buggy. Once you start trying to do something a little exciting, it falls down on the job. The best thing to do is to create these views in code using the CREATE VIEW command.
In addition, it's a good practice to put all of your views in code so that they can be easily recreated should something in the .DBC go awry!
