I was trying to write a response and I have a problem, I don't know if the phrase I used is correct or not and how to say this correctly.

The question I want to ask is this "Did the record got inserted?" However, for some reason it sounds to me incorrect. How should I phrase this question in proper English?

"Have the record been inserted?"
